By accessing or using Dissertation Coach (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Dissertation Coach provides advisory tools, including AI-assisted coaching, for doctoral students and dissertation chairs. The Service does not replace your committee, IRB, or institutional requirements. Outputs are suggestions only; you remain responsible for your scholarship and compliance with academic integrity policies.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to generate work for submission as your own writing, to circumvent plagiarism or AI-use policies, or in any way that violates law or your institution’s rules. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse.

Subscriptions and trials

Paid features are billed according to the plan you select. Trials and renewals are described at checkout and on the pricing page. You may cancel according to the cancellation flow in the product or your payment provider’s portal.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR MEET EVERY ACADEMIC OR REGULATORY REQUIREMENT OF YOUR PROGRAM.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISSERTATION COACH AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be indicated by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
