If you use the product through a university or institution, your school may have additional requirements; this policy applies to our service as provided to you directly.

Information we collect

We collect account information you provide (such as name, email, and role), profile and dissertation-stage information you choose to enter, content you submit for coaching or review (such as drafts and messages), usage and technical data (such as device type, browser, and log data), and payment-related information processed by our payment provider.

How we use information

We share information with service providers who help us run the product (for example hosting, analytics, email, and payment processing) under appropriate agreements. Coaching interactions may be visible to dissertation chairs and administrators you or your institution connect to the platform, as designed by those workflows. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Retention and deletion

We retain information as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account subject to any institutional or legal retention requirements; contact us using the details on our contact page.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and safe handling of committee-sensitive materials.
