Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. The seven-day trial starts with just your email — no credit card required. Because there's no card on file, you can't be charged by accident and there's nothing to remember to cancel. If the coaching helps, you add billing at the end of the week; if not, the trial simply ends.

Your coaching sessions stay private unless you explicitly share them. Chairs who join see the structured workflow you build together — not a log of every question you ask.
Does my dissertation chair have to join before I can use it?
No. You can start with a student account and trial access immediately. Chair-linked features activate when your chair accepts an invite. Until then, coaching still respects advisory-only boundaries.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export or retain copies of work you uploaded according to in-product options and your institution's policy. We retain billing and security logs as required by law. For deletion requests, email support from the address on the contact page.
